On a lazy day for a bioinformatician.

The Day Starts!! (in mid-day!)

You wake up almost by noon, have breakfast at lunchtime and lunch at 5PM.. You pass some more bloody time in canteen or so. But at last you be prepared to do some analysis pending since long. You make up the mind to finish it in one go, collect all material, clean the desk..

And then you log into the gmail before actual work(as usual), But now you are really dedicated to just start it and stop only when it finishes..

You open all the word files, excel sheet, pdfs... you copy first sequence, paste in blast window.. click BLAST..

.
And then you keep waiting...

the BLAST is running..

You wait again..

The operation is pending!

You still wait.

The operation failed.. RETRY.

You keep calm and resubmit it.

Same messages keep repeating (Until you loose the temper and bang your head on the keybord)

But today you really want to do it, You try other sites, but in vain..

You return to same site, But now you get PLAIN message "The website is temporarily not working" (till you become Frustrated and give up!)

Then you just stop the work and again Logon to gmail (as usual, periodically)
Noone online, no new mails!!

You pass more time around and return to desk..

And to your surprise, the bloody site starts working again..
The BLAST gets blasted within no time!!

you try some more BLASTS.. its working!! You rejoice..

But by that time.. its 11PM, You have lost the interest to do it, you realise that its not gonna happen now!!

You close all the tabs and goto blogger to vent your agony against yourself!!
